The new pok for Spider-Man: No Elbow room Home includes a pretty explicit reference to the last of Gwen Stacy – a tragic comic event that also occurs in 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Andrew Garfield.

There, Emma Stone's Stacy falls to her expiry during the continuation's final act – despite Peter's attempts to grab her.

In No Way Home, MJ (Zendaya) is seen falling off a structure and Tom Holland's Spidey struggling to save her. The parallels to the wall-crawler's darkest hour are clear – merely fans think Andrew Garfield will save the day.

"Calling it now: Andrew wish pull through her," Destinyman50 said connected Reddit, echoing the thoughts of some WHO believe that Andrew Garfield's Wanderer-Man – while conspicuously absent from the secondment laggard – will undergo a repurchase arc and learn from his biggest mistake.

Whatever fans get ahead one further and believe that Marvel/Sony have edited the preview good sufficient to hide the fact that it's Andrew President Garfield's Spider-Man, not Tom Holland's, that reaches bent grab MJ while she's falling. Take a look for yourself and adjudicate.

If you believe Garfield's own words, he's adamant he's not even in the movie.

"I'm non in [Spider-Man: No Way Home]," Garfield aforementioned in an interview on The Today Show that ventilated pre-trailer let go. "I love Spider-Man, I always have. I was sol happy to have played the set forth. I'm so wild to see what they do with the 3rd one."

Not long to go until we find out either way. Spider-Man: No Way Home is swinging into cinemas on December 15 in the Great Britain and December 17 in the US.
